We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Business Developer within e-Commerce to join us as we work to bring Nordea Connect, Nordea’s payment service provider to the market. Nordea is making a massive bet on e-commerce and you will be part of the team tasked with bringing a strong e-commerce offering to the market for our corporate customers.

We’re looking for someone who has a strong passion for e-commerce and online payments. You need to combine strategic thinking with commercial know-how and use your past experiences in creating value for our corporate customers. You’ll join the newly established Business & Merchant Offering unit as a Senior Business Developer. We are looking for a person with a commercial and strategic mindset, and with extensive experience within e-commerce and online payments. Business & Merchant Offering drives the commercial, business and strategy related questions of Nordea Connect, Nordea’s payment service provider. We aim to be the go-to-place for e-commerce within Nordea and constantly have the merchant value as our guiding light.
You will need to understand the market drivers within e-commerce and online payments and translate what that will look like in the future and how the customer and merchant need will evolve over time.
What you’ll be doing:
Be a strong contributor to key strategic and business development questions related to defining value propositions, merchant value and marketing plans
Provide support to both customers and internal stakeholders: advising on e-commerce, helping customers navigate the online landscape, and supporting internal stakeholders, such as sales in understanding and succeeding in the e-commerce market
Identify, understand and drive cross-functional strategic initiatives that support Nordea’s overall strategy, with a strong focus on revenue generation
Be an active contributor to commercial and sales strategies, stakeholder management and support
Be an internal expert on e-commerce: Understand key trends, events and market developments within the e-commerce market and share with relevant stakeholders

Furthermore, we would like for you to have:
At least five years’ experience of working hands-on with e-commerce/online payments, as a consultant within e-commerce and online payments or experience from working within other payment service providers
A great understanding, interest and passion for e-commerce and online payments
A track record of running successful commercial initiatives related to e-commerce/online payments
High level of energy and engagement with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Strong networking skills
A natural “can do” attitude and a high level of curiosity within your field - you’ll find a solution when there isn’t a natural one
