J. Walter Thompson London is looking for talented and enthusiastic people to train from scratch with our unique industry-leading programme ‘Future Pioneers’, to kick off in January 2019.

We know that talent comes in a variety of forms and from different backgrounds. You might be a recent graduate, a school leaver or, alternatively, you might have been working for a few years and realised you yearn to do something more creative. We really don’t care what your background is – what matters to us is that you are obsessed with creativity, problem solving and imagining future possibilities for our clients’ brands. We believe that diversity of talent leads to diversity of ideas so whether your background is in STEM or the Humanities, art school or film school, you are an Instagram star or a brilliant Blogger or You-Tuber, we welcome your application.


The future of communications is changing rapidly, therefore we have designed a completely new approach to our entry level training. To be successful in the advertising industry you need to have a broad understanding of all aspects of communication and develop the ability to work across a range of disciplines, in a fluid and integrated way. So when you join JWT as a Future Pioneer you will be trained and spend 18 months working across 4 different specialisms: JWT London which will embrace advertising Planning, Account Management and Production ; Prism, where you will be immersed in the world of sports sponsorship and event marketing; Mirum, our digital specialists; and Colloquial who create and curate online content for some of the biggest clients there are.
