Head of Learning Design for Tailored Solutions (interim position)
Hyper Island is growing. We are now looking for a person to develop and quality assure our global learning design of training and change programs for organisations.
At Hyper Island change is happening fast, if you enjoy that pace, are experienced in learning design in a business context and have a deep understanding of how digital is impacting organisations, you might be a perfect fit for this role.
The driving purpose of this role is to support Hyper Island’s local Tailored Solutions teams (Partnership Directors & Learning Designers), to learn from each other when developing proposals and designing transformative training and change programs. Head of Learning Design for Tailored Solutions will not just support others but also design and deliver client programs himself/herself.
The role is global and will work across all Hyper Island hubs, which means it will include some travel throughout the year. This role will report to Global Head of Tailored Solutions.
Hyper Island work with a network of freelancers (experts, speakers and facilitators), we call them collaborators. This role will work closely with our Head of Collaborator Network, to make sure the networks competence meets the need of the clients.
Mission for the role
To support the organisation and its collaborators to develop long term partnerships and solutions with clients
To enable and support global connection and collaboration to stimulate learning across all Hyper Island hubs
To lead and/or support development of blended offerings to clients.
Consult and advise on proposal & program design for organizational learning, training and change programs
Quality assure design & facilitation through advising stakeholders, based on design principles and frameworks
Lead development and maintenance of core learning design resources, guiding materials and packaging.
Drive and support the development and implementation of new learning approaches in the Tailored Solutions portfolio
Foster knowledge & experience sharing around learning design throughout the network
Create resources for Learning Designers to use in their program designs.
Provide supporting material for Client Partners to create well designed, worked through material for their proposals.
Experience & Competence
Are an experienced facilitator, with several years of practice working across industries and regions
Have had a key role in organisations in change, either in your own organisations or as a consultant
Have an eye for designing material that can be reused and repurposed.
You are familiar with the language, perspectives and priorities of various stakeholders in the business context (e.g. C-suite leaders, HR, learning & development, marketeers, creatives, etc) and can move fluidly between working with a range of them.
Have an interest and is curious about digital transformation and how it’s impacting society and organisations.
Basic fluency in (and natural curiosity toward) a range of 21st century business ideas related to, for example: change management, organizational design, innovation, modern leadership, etc.
