Job Description

Are you an inspiring and visionary designer with solid experience in service design and digital product development? We are currently looking for a new manager to lead our Service Design department in Experience Design.

What will you do?

Your main responsibility will be to guide and further develop a group of designers with capabilities encompassing service design, product strategy, user experience and interaction design. In your role as department manager, you will enable people to grow their competence and further develop the strong design culture we have in Making Waves.

We work strategically to strengthen the position of human centered design and design-led processes throughout digital product creation. Actively contributing to this will be an important part of your daily work as a member of the management team in Experience Design.

You will use your ability to win people over with your persona, insight and knowledge when you are involved in client assignments and sales processes.

Finding a good balance between skill sets, motivation and professional challenges is key to personal growth and achieving high-quality results. You will work to match our talented designers with clients and assignments, and use your ability to see the potential in people and where they are most likely to succeed and grow.

Together with your colleagues, you will engage in recruitment events and processes, inspiring designers to choose Making Waves for their first or next career move.
