Job Description

We’re looking for a digital-savvy PR intern to assist with the day-to-day work at AAKERLIND, starting as soon as possible. As a close-knit team, we look for a good team player with a positive attitude who wants to learn all aspects of the field. Whilst this is an entry level position, the role has a number of assignments essential to contemporary PR experience and results. A proactive approach and hands on attitude is highly encouraged.

Key assignments include:


- Product placements on influencers for our clients

- Assisting on seeding events

Handling press samples

- Handling requests from editors and stylists, putting together lend-outs, handling returns

- General care of sample supply including daily contact with front desk

Image bank

- Upload and price tag new images

- Weekly digital send-outs (Mailchimp) to promote new products


- Covering Instagram, web and print media for clippings

- Weekly and monthly reports for our clients

Strategic work

- Contributing on brainstorming meetings for PR-plans

- Assisting at events (including presence during evening events)

- Creating content for our website, social media and company presentation


- Genuine interest in culture, fashion, interior and lifestyle

- Interest in the social media landscape

- Efficient in Excel and Keynote/PowerPoint

- Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written


- Full time 3-6 months, start February 2019

- Applicants are interviewed continuously to start as soon as possible

- The internship is unpaid and can be combined with studies
