We are now looking for an experienced Senior Art Director to the Marketing Studio at Acne Studios' Head Office in Stockholm.
The Senior Art Director works in close collaboration with our Head of Brand Image to ensure all collateral produced by the creative studio, such as brand campaigns, product launches, collection presentations and moving image, is underpinned by an ambitious and integrated strategic quality. You will be responsible for driving, optimising and delivering material to an exceptionally high level, why you will need an ability to push innovative solutions applicable to content level and marketing strategy.
Beyond the Marketing department, there will be a number of projects that require collaboration with other departments. In particular, you will work closely with Social Media and the Digital Commerce design team for acnestudios.com, and therefore an understanding and appreciation of digital and moving image content is required.
The position reports to the Studio Manager. Travelling may occur.
Tasks will include, but not be limited to:
•Ensure that the creative output is consistent and in line with project objectives, with consistency across all creative touch points, and that concepts are aligned across all media
•Continuously communicate innovative solutions appropriate to brief, with knowledge to execute on time and project scope
•Manage the development of design projects day to day to ensure they run smoothly, and that deliverables meet deadlines as well as creative standards, in collaboration with the Studio Manager
•Oversee artistic direction from pre to post production, with an ambition to push design boundaries
•Plan, concept and execute elevated photography and video content. Co-manage the process from concept ideation to post production, including proposing photographers, directors, stylists and casting, and pulling relevant references
•Co-responsible for creating a stringent on brand communication within internal and external channels together with the stakeholders of those channels
•Inspire and collaborate with a strong internal creative team
•Minimum bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or related area
•Proven industry experience within luxury fashion market and a strong understanding of luxury branding
•Minimum 5 years’ experience in the fashion industry as a leader of designers and/or other creative teams
•Proficient in Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Premier Pro, After Effects
•Innate ability to review and strategise creative concepts relevant to brand image
•Ability to articulate design - rationally, verbally and visually
•Strong interest and views within design platforms, fashion, art, architecture
•Strong planning, organizational and problem-solving skills
•Highly proactive and solution-oriented
•Intellectual curiosity to explore and push the limits of image making
•Strong communication skills in written and spoken English
