Job Description


We are looking for a creative intern to join us at Race For The Baltic Foundation. The world is changing and today there are benefits to be gained from investing in the Baltic Sea. This internship is dedicated to working with storytelling and communications on issues surrounding the Baltic Sea, cities, and the positive impact that can be made through the Baltic Sea City Accelerator (

The ideal candidate is looking to gain digital communications experience on how to craft and create stories about positive change across sectors on a specific issue, and finds the idea of working with a small dynamic and fast paced team exciting. You are proactive, creative with a keen interest in storytelling and communications. You can take initiative and manage projects.

Internship Description

- COMMUNICATIONS: Great focus on Storytelling of business cases, including writing blog posts, creating content with photos/video, keeping social media updated and monitor impact news

- PROJECT/EVENT SUPPORT: Plan and support our high-level events with politicians and other key stakeholders that will take place during spring 2017.

- ADMIN: Provide office support and admin for


Excellent writing skills in English- ability to communicate ‘stories’ and create final versions that can be shared with the public

Excellent Communication skills

Experience with digital media, photos/video is desirable

Proactive and able to work independently

Strong interest in the environment, sustainability or other social issues. A special interest in Ocean/Baltic Sea issues is viewed as a plus but not required

Able to commit to approx. 20 hours per week (flexible) for at least 12 weeks
