Job Description


Bachelor's or Master's in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Product Design, Service Design or a closely related field.

3-5+ years working in a fast-paced design studio environment. With 3+ years as UX/UI designer.

Primary focus on designing digital products (IxD/UX/UI) with user-centered research methodologies.

Thorough understanding of the design thinking methodology.

Love for collaboration with a readiness to work with a diverse group of people, including proactively spearheading new challenges.

Ability to be flexible and adapt quickly.

Curious and open to learning new tools and processes.

Organized, self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work autonomously and be a self-starter in a demanding environment.

Passionate about maintaining very high standards for design and constantly striving to exceed expectations.

Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.

Positive attitude!


Actively collaborating on projects with our team and clients starting with helping define the brief all the way through the final project delivery.

Contribute to the development of a creative, fun, and inspiring culture at Propelland. We aim to motivate each other to create impact through meaningful experiences.

Actively build strong, trust-based relationships with our client partners in order to ensure continued engagement for Propelland.

Inspire other members of the team with your unique approach, open-minded nature, team-first philosophy, collaborative mindset, dynamic and cheerful personality, and dedicated work ethic.

Participate and contribute to workshops with clients.


Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Interface design tools (Sketch, Adobe Xd, or similar), Prototyping tools (InVision, Flinto, Framer, or similar).

Develop sound UX concepts including: the definition of user needs, task analysis, the creation of personas, storyboards, use case scenarios, and user flows.

Ability to define and layout information architecture.

Familiarity with user testing / validation best practices (one-on-one interviews, A/B testing, etc.)

Ability to design final visual layouts, front-end interactions, and animations for interfaces with a focus on detail and aesthetic taste.

Able to create presentations for clients that communicate effectively.

Project management skills.

Partner with development teams to bring projects to life using the Lean/Agile/Scrum method.


Drawing or illustration background

Coding experience for mobile (iOS / Android) or web.

Experience with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or other basic electronics.

Good understanding of design & business strategy to align with client expectations and goals.

Desire to be part of the team both professionally and socially such as grabbing a morning coffee, eating lunch with the team, and offsites!
