UX/UI Designer

The User Experience Design team in Nets is looking for a talented new colleague to create awesome user experiences for our products facing banks, merchants and consumers.

The User Experience Design team in Nets have been around for almost three years now and we are all highly engaged in driving the culture in Nets towards being truly user- and customer-centric.

We work relentlessly to simplify and improve our digital platforms – bringing forward new possibilities within the digital payments eco-system, while always delivering unrivalled security and stability. You will become a part of a team of user experience designers, user researchers, user interface designers, UX process leads and strategic designers, in a highly innovative context. The team will be growing significantly during 2018 and 2019.

What you will work on

The products and services we work on affect the lives of most people in the Nordics and are a part of a highly diverse and complex ecosystem with many interesting challenges.

You will be a part of some of the most well-known products in the Nordics that reach into the daily lives of many people. Products such as Betalingsservice, eFaktura, NemID, Dankort, BankID and payment terminals.

Moreover, you will get to know the payment industry intimately including a number of new innovative solutions within AI, Blockchain, Biometics and IoT.

Finally, you will be part of creating new products that make the lives of consumers more convenient, more secure and change the way we manage finances on a daily basis as well as create products for merchants and banks that open up new opportunities and give them insight into their daily business.

Why we need you

We have plenty of projects to work on and we need you to help drive the design process by creating awesome designs for both our existing products and the future innovation payment products.

What you will do

Create sketches, prototypes, detailed wireframes and graphics – from state-of-the-art concepts all the way to pixel perfect deliveries, with a keen eye for detail for all sorts of products to banks, merchants and consumers.

Uncover unmet user needs and develop ideas for new, enhanced and innovative features, using intuitive and conversational UI to ensure the best user experience possible.

Collaborate with colleagues from UX, business and IT to ensure that expectations and design style are aligned and that the design process is driven forward.

Ensure that design style is maintained across products.

Work with the full customer-journey to ensure a great user experience end-to-end.

Who you are

A skilled expert with 3 or more years of experience in UX/UI projects, with an outstanding UI/UX portfolio filled with cutting-edge interfaces for websites, apps and other interactive mediums – from concept through creation.

Passionate about design, user experience, tech trends and have a drive for innovation.

An expert in all levels of sketching, wireframing and prototyping across digital platforms.

Fluent in English. Both spoken and written.

Proficient in most User-Centered Design methods, techniques, and principles

On a personal side you are a problem solver with ideas that challenge the ordinary and the patience and guts to bring them to live. You are a great colleague who truly believes that we are better together. You are capable of documenting designs efficiently for implementation by developers in remote locations. A great communicator is also what we a looking for.
